I curated stories daily across social media platforms at The New York Times, pulling out visual highlights and experimenting with posting strategies that expanded our reach.

I led the rollout of social campaigns for Arts & Culture coverage.

That included:

  • Running the NYT’s live Twitter coverage of the Emmys in 2022, both editing copy and designing visuals to accompany each update.

  • Planning visual rollouts for memoirs and key enterprise packages.

  • Experimenting with new posting strategies and recirculation efforts, increasing the visibility of our stories.

  • Monitoring trends to inform curation decisions around big features and memoir releases.

Awards Shows: Emmys

I converted live updates into visual highlights, and then published them on Twitter in realtime.

Key Enterprise Features

You’ve heard about New York’s legendary writers… but what about their favorite hangouts?

I designed bespoke social visual cards from scratch, and edited corresponding copy, to highlight a beautiful feature from Books on the stomping grounds of some of the world’s most prolific writers.

TV Round-Ups

I adapted themed round-ups from Arts into social-friendly bites across platforms, including this one for the breakout stars of 2022.

Memoirs

I edited copy, worked on cards, and published all content on our social platforms to millions of followers.

News

I curated and scheduled our daily news offering across social platforms, pulling out highlights for visual treatment. This one on Anna May Wong is an example of a highlight I expanded into a visual thread, which ended up doubling the reach for this particular story.
