This was an Instagram Story I scripted and produced to promote this article on the US politicians turning to Instagram to hook young voters ahead of 2020.
The treatment here was unique because I incorporated vertical video into the on-site article — clips I then used to promote the piece on social, and also within the Instagram Story I produced at the end of the week.

This was an Instagram Story I scripted and produced to promote an FT Big Read on problems with the global trash trade.
It includes a bespoke graphic I designed, which was also used to promote the article on Twitter and Facebook.

It’s a good example of how seamless you can make post-produced, horizontal projects actually look in a vertical format if you have the time — and can forge great relationships with the video team.

This is a great example of one way we used Instagram to break down a dense market analysis for a completely new audience.
What just happened with Tesla and Elon Musk? – Financial Times
This was an Instagram Story I created to piece together everything that happened with Elon Musk and the markets – after the FT reported on Saudi Arabia making a huge donation to the company, and Musk announcing that he may take Tesla private.
It’s a good example of a way to use Instagram to piece together breaking news that roils the markets.

- I created an IG Story framed as a callout to our followers to ask journalists anything about the financial crisis (video 1).
- The IG story included a widget where readers could type questions directly on screen (video 2).
- I optimized the follow-up video which appeared on site into a subsequent Instagram Story where journalists answered key questions (video 3).
